  • What is the status of my order?

      We can’t wait for you to get your hands on the products! We aim to process your order for shipment within 1-2 working days. Upon the shipment of your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail which includes a link to track your order.

      If you are based in the UK, your order will usually arrive in 3-5 business days. Orders destined for the rest of Europe usually arrive within 15 business days. For orders going to the rest of the world, please allow up to 25 business days.

      Most items arrive within the estimated delivery times stated above. If you have not received your item in the usual time, don’t worry as delays do occasionally occur. However you can please e-mail us and we will investigate with the courier.

  • How do I track my order?

      Upon the shipment of your order, you would have received a shipping confirmation e-mail that contains a link to track your order.

  • What should I do if my payment is declined?

      Please double-check that you have entered all of your information correctly, including checking that your billing postcode matches your bank account address postcode. If that does not work, we suggest checking with your bank or card provider. If you continue to have issues, please contact us.

  • Can I return my item?

      Yes you can! Please visit our Shipping & Returns page for more information on returning your item.

  • I would like to cancel or change my order. How do I do this?

      If you would like to cancel your order or make some changes to the items ordered, please contact us as soon as possible (within the hour of placing it) and we will see what we can do. If your order has already been shipped or is in the process of being shipped, unfortunately, we will be unable to cancel or modify it.

  • How do I amend my delivery address?

      For us to amend your delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible (within the hour of placing your order). Unfortunately, once your order has been shipped or is in the process of being shipped, we are unable to make this change. Parcels sent to incorrect addresses should eventually be returned back to us.

  • Do you use any silicones or sulphates?

      We don't use any silicones or sulphates in our formulations.

  • Do you use artificial fragrance in your products?

      We naturally fragrance our products with pure essential oils, naturally derived from fruits, flowers, herbs, barks that have been used for centuries and have stood the test of time. Our entire blends are a brand secret, but it includes blends of sweet, fresh and floral notes. The scent is one of the first things our customers fall in love with!

  • What do Flora & Curl products smell like?

      Our range is free from artificial fragrance. Our recipes are scented with a natural blend of 100% pure essential oils and contains fresh blends and aromatic notes. Customers have described the scents of our products as smelling like ''chocolate oranges'', ''a bed of roses'', ''a flower garden'', ''heavenly perfume for the hair'', ''divine''. We love these descriptions  and every customer has a unique sensorial experience every time!

  • Where can I find the full ingredients list?

      You can find the full ingredient list on our website on each of our products page or at the back of the product label. Please revert to the product label for the most relevant ingredient information.

  • What is the shelf life of your products?

      It varies per product. Most of our products have a shelf life of 12 months and some have a shelf life of 6 months from the period of opening. You can find the PAO (''period after opening'') symbol, which looks like an open jar at the back of the product's label.

      It advises until when the product will remain in good condition after you have used/opened the product for the first time. For example, a product with the ‘12M’ POA symbol can be used for up to 12 months, beginning from the day of first use/opening.

  • What if I didn't get the results I expected?

      We'd absolutely love to support you in getting the best out of your products!

      We also have helpful video tutorials available for all of our product ranges showcasing application and results on different types of textures.

      Remember practice makes perfect! Experimenting with products is all part of the process and can be so much fun. We are here to help every step of the way to find the perfect curl routine!

  • What are your products bottles and pumps made from?

      Our new bottles are made from aluminium! As aluminium doesn't lose its quality you can use it forever and if you choose to recycle it, aluminium is not only infinitely recyclable but has a much higher recyclability rate than plastic.
      Our pumps make up a small percentage of our packaging and are made from non-recyclable plastic. We're working on improving this so we can have fully recyclable packaging!

  • How do I recycle my Flora & Curl products and delivery packaging?

      We encourage this! We have created a helpful guide to teach you this. You can learn how to recycle your Flora & Curl packaging responsibly in our Recycling guide.

  • What materials are used to package orders?

      All of our products are shipped in eco-friendly recyclable cardboard boxes. The postcards and leaflets included in your package are made from paper and are fully recyclable too!

  • Do you offer refills?

      We don’t currently offer refills, but this is something we are working hard to offer in future!

  • What are your plans in the future to improve your sustainability?

      In the future, we have several exciting plans to enhance our sustainability:

      Recyclable Pumps: We are actively working on transitioning to recyclable pumps, which will not only significantly reduce our environmental impact but also make our packaging fully recyclable.

      Refills: We aim to launch refills for our bestsellers, which will allow you to reuse your pumps and bottles and therefore reduce waste.

  • What hair types are Flora & Curl haircare products formulated for?

      Our products are formulated to moisturise naturally dry, textured hair (from loosely curled to tightly curled hair). This includes typing system 3-4 hair: curly, kinky-coily, and afro-textured hair. Our products are designed to simplify your daily curl care routine, helping you to respond to your curls' basic needs.   • Are your products suitable for children?

      Yes, they are. Yes they do! All Flora & Curl ingredients meet the criteria set out in the European Union Directive for Cosmetic Safety (the strictest cosmetic safety standard in the world).

      Flora & Curl is an ingredient-conscious haircare line. Our plant-powered formulas are made without traditionally harsh ingredients such as silicones, sulphates, synthetic fragrancing, artificial colours, phthalates, sulphates, parabens, mineral oil and petrochemicals. 

  • Which products would you mainly recommend for kids daily care of hair?

  • How much hold does your Sweet Hibiscus Curl Defining Gel provide?

      We would describe our curl gel as offering a gentle-medium hold. If you're finding you need a little extra hold we'd suggest experimenting with the amount of product you're applying.
      For example, you could try adding a little less Curl Activating Lotion and a little more Curl Defining Gel.

  • Which order should I apply the styling products?

  • Should I air dry or diffuse after using your products?

      How you choose to dry your curls is totally your preference! You may achieve more volume if you prefer to diffuse but you'll still achieve gorgeously bouncy curls if you prefer to air dry.

  • Which products do you recommend for hair growth?

      Our entire curl care range is formulated with beneficial natural ingredients to promote overall scalp and hair health. We formulate using pure essential oils such as Sweet Orange, Jasmine, Lavender, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang and Eucalyptus. These oils provide scalp stimulating and soothing properties.

      Our soothe me. range is particularly great for boosting hair growth, because of particularly scalp stimulating essential oils such as Lavender, Peppermint, and Eucalyptus which stimulate the follicles.

  • What’s the difference between the Sweet Hibiscus Curl Activating Lotion and the Rose Water Detangling Lotion?

  • Are all your products suitable for colour-treated hair?

      Yes, all products are safe to use on colour-treated hair.

  • Is Flora & Curl curly girl friendly?

  • Which of your products contain coconut, protein, gluten, nuts or humectants such as glycerine?

  • Your products smell amazing! How?

      Why thank you! We think so too. The pleasing scents have been developed from scratch by our Founder, who discovered her ultimate favourite notes. Our customers are delighted by the essences found in each of our products. Meet curl care that elevates the mood through each product – featuring our signature blends of beautiful, fresh scents derived from fruits, flowers, barks, seeds and herbs.
      We use natural fragrances and colours derived directly from plants. Compared to the norm, our haircare range is free from synthetic fragrances.

      Our products are created to deliver results on naturally wavy, curly and coily hair. Nevertheless, you are ofcourse welcome to try them out.
