Summer is well under way and staying hydrated by drinking water regularly during the day will help to keep your curls moisturised. Did you know that dehydration can have a direct impact on the health of your scalp and hair. Staying hydrated is key, and protecting your hair from sun damage is what we need to do. We don't want to cause our curls unnecessary breakage.

BENEFITS OF WATER FOR HAIR GROWTH

Water Boosts Moisture: 

The roots of your hair supply water from your body to the hair. Our roots soak up the water and distribute it evenly throughout the strands.  If the roots of your hair are highly deficient in water, your hair will eventually become brittle, dry and rough. The more water you drink, the more hydrated your strands will be and those twist outs and braid outs will forever be poppin'. 

Boosts Hair Growth: 

Drinking water facilitates the nutrients in every part of our body. Water nurtures cells and provides them with required hair vitamins from the foods you eat.
