Since switching to Flora & Curl's Soothing Wash Day Kit, we've had so many compliments on Emily's beautiful curls! Soft, bouncy, defined curls. Hair goals. The coconut scent is perfect for children. Making wash day feel like a treat rather than a chore.

So far, I have a slightly better curl the same day as using the products, but even using a pineapple at night, I have flat hair the next day, and it seems more fly away and though very soft, it does not hold the curl

It took me until my mid-50s to realize I had curly hair! I tried everything to get rid of my frizzy ‘sideburns’ before reading that it may not be just dry frizzy hair - so I researched and tried many product - thus live is by far the easiest and smells fantastic! If I had one piece of advice it would be to trust the process. Even though I get crispy wiry hair once it’s dry, I learned that I need to ‘break the cast’ by simply squeezing my hair. I love the volume

I love Flora and Curl styling products, so I was excited to try the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is very thick. The shampoo did not seem to remove product residue from my hair, and the conditioner did little to detangle. I was sadly disappointed.

The Hydrating Wash Day Kit is designed to be a gentle, moisture-focused cleansing and conditioning system, rather than a clarifying routine. Because of this, it won’t deeply strip away heavier product build-up, especially on thicker hair or if there’s been a lot of styling product layered in over time. In those cases, it can sometimes feel like it isn’t cleansing as thoroughly as expected.
If build-up is a concern, we’d usually recommend incorporating a clarifying step from our range every so often to reset the hair, then a hydrating wash routine like this one to replenish moisture inbetween. This combination often helps both cleansing and manageability work much more effectively together.
We’re also really sorry to hear the conditioner didn’t provide the detangling support you were hoping for. Thick hair in particular can sometimes benefit from a specifin detangling product alongside conditioner to help with slip and manageability.

We’re so glad to hear you loved the packaging, but we’re really sorry that the Coconut Mint Scalp Refresh Shampoo didn’t work as expected for your hair. We completely understand how disappointing it is when a product leaves your hair feeling anything less than clean and refreshed.
This shampoo is sulphate free, and we’ve found that how it’s applied can make a big difference to the results. Using a small amount, emulsifying it well with water, and ensuring it’s thoroughly rinsed can help avoid any residue or “sticky” feeling. That said, we completely appreciate that not every product will suit every hair type or preference.

I love this shampoo - it certainly does the job it says it will . If I have a slight niggle for this product it would be that I’d like it to feel more luxurious . I’d like it to be a bit thicker in consistency and be easier to lather . That said I’m still using it for its great results.

Took a couple of tries to get the ratios right (i.e., using the right amount of oil, etc.), but the difference in my curls is so much more than I was expecting! They look so much better compared to the previous shampoo I was using. Totally worth it.

The lotion is amazing, bought for my daughter with 3C classic curls and it alone is fantastic at moisturizing and keeping her hair soft and tangle free. The twist and braid cream gives extra hold when I want to make sure her curls stay perfect all day. I have also been using the twist and braid cream on my dry 2B wavy hair (to save the lotion for my daughter) and it is also so moisturizing! My favorite part might just be the scent though, I’m very sensitive to perfumes and this is very pleasant and not overpowering!!!! So thankful!

The lotion is just right - not too light and not too heavy. It left my hair soft and smelling great. It helps to make sure your hair is nice and wet; use a spray bottle if you have to. This plays well with other products, e.g. mousse and hair oil. The braiding cream is quite thick and has some hold, but I would use a gel if a stronger hold is needed. My hair was well moisturised and soft even days later. These products easily washed out too afterwards.

My hair is as thick as it’s coiled, gets frizzy and messy very easily, been a nightmare on a daily basis. These products are heaven-sent, they really good at keeping my hair hydrated, and my curls defined. I’m super happy, deffo will be buying more!
