It works better on my refresh days than on my washdays. I use it with the volume foam and love the results. On washdays it doesn't hold as much as I'd like but I'm still trying to figure out the right protein-moisture balance for my hair.
As a newbie to curl care I wanted to try out some of the products recommended by curl gurus I follow on Instagram (shoutout to @welshiecurlgirl!), but I was hesitant to spend a lot of money on full size products without knowing they’d work for my hair first.
This set is amazing! I’ve already used the shampoo and conditioner for a short trip away, and the lotion, gel and mist have made their way into my regular care routine with great results.
The curl activating lotion and defining gel especially are amazing products. They have a fresh but not overpowering scent and the directions for use are clear and easy to understand.
