How To Pick The Right Conditioner for Your Curls

Right Conditioner for Your Curls

It's sometimes hard to pick which conditioners to use on wash day but lets break it down. There are daily conditioners, deep conditioners, masks and leave - in conditioners to name a few. Don't forget moisturising and protein conditioners too. With all that's out there, what conditioners are good for you!

It's always good to have a balance when using a moisturising and protein conditioner. I would suggest alternating between the two each week.

DAILY CONDITIONERS

  • Gentle enough to use daily
  • Helps to restore moisture lost during the shampoo process
  • Helps repair the hair strands

DEEP CONDITIONERS

  • Should be used weekly
  • Provides the hair with intense moisture
  • Best used with heat
  • Is ok to use a mask as a deep conditioner
  • Adding oils help bump up a conditioner

MASKS

  • Is ok to use a deep conditioner as a mask
  • More effective with heat
  • Is normally of a thicker consistency
  • Are normally repairing and help prevent breakage

LEAVE - IN CONDITIONERS

  • Gentle enough to leave in your hair after washing
  • Provides more moisture
  • Can also be used as a moisturiser (a lighter leave - in for thinner hair and a heavier leave - in for thicker hair)

I love using our Jasmine Oasis Floral Hydration Hair Mist as a leave - in. Textured, curly hair is naturally dry and not infusing adequate moisture daily means that ends are more prone to breakage, making moisture a key component of a healthy hair routine. Floral Hydration is formulated with the best nature has to offer dry hair!

A thirst relief formula that is a powerful blend of organic Rose Flower Water, pure Aloe Vera Water and handpicked bioactive floral ingredients and herbal essences to deeply penetrate into the hair structure, saturating it with essential moisture whilst minimising reversion. Brushing and styling become easier, hair is instantly softened and sleek and hair brittleness is reduced.

Unlike spraying hair with tap water or hard water which contain chlorine and various metal minerals, this botanical mist moisturises the way nature intended. Your hair generously receives all the potent benefits, without build up from synthethic additives.

Infused with White Jasmine, the natural healing properties found in Jasmine Oil aid in reducing scalp conditions such as dandruff and purify the scalp of bacteria and build up.

Summary of benefits:

  • MOISTURISING - Replenishes moisture and instantly conditions dry hair
  • SOFTENING - Softens and reduces brittleness
  • REVITALISING - Perfect for refreshing curls throughout the week with low reversion
  • MANAGEABILITY - Delivers manageability and ease of styling
  • Perfect formula for extra dry, brittle hair

Bioactive Ingredients:

  • Ph balancing organic Rose flower water
  • Scalp stimulating Lavender
  • Scalp soothing Sandalwood

Invest in your hair. It's the crown you never take off!

Naturally yours,

Team Flora & Curl
